Following the success of her publications with Northwestern Publishing House and Augsburg Fortress, Valerie decided to put more time into arranging hymntunes for piano, organ, and solo instruments. With her prolific output as well as a backlog at both Northwestern and Augsburg Fortress, it became obvious that starting her own company would allow her to release books as she completed them. Her arrangements are known for their beauty while maintaining a simplicity that keeps them accessible for most church musicians.
