This collection contains twelve sacred solos for the early elementary piano student.   Written with the church year in mind, the pianist will have a solo ready each month for use in chapel and worship services. Solos use all the original rhythms of the hymns, but keys have been changed, when necessary, to make these accessible to the students at this stage of development. This book moves beyond thumbs together on Middle C and serves as the perfect bridge before the Elementary book. These are complete solos with no duet part. The text is provided for students who like to sing and play.
